Traditional Bagels & Breakfast in North Bondi
This is where it started. We opened our doors on Blair Street in 2019 - a small hole in the wall with big plans and even bigger bagels. Today, Bondi is still the heart of Lox in a Box. We bake our Polish bagels fresh every morning, cure our own salmon out the back, and pour proper coffee from open till close. Whether you're heading down to Bondi Beach or just finishing a swim - we're the deli on Blair Street that'll sort you out.

Everything on the menu is made in-house — the bagels, the cures, the schmears. These are the three that people come back for.
The Classic Lox
Our namesake, and the bagel that started the whole thing. House-cured salmon, whipped cream cheese schmear, the works - on a hand-braided Polish bagel that's boiled before it's baked, the way it's been done for generations.
Peri Peri Chicken
A favourite since day one. Grilled chicken, our peri peri sauce, and enough flavour to ruin every other chicken bagel for you. Sorry in advance.
Banana Pudding
Layered, made in-house, dangerously good. We've had people drive across Sydney for this. We've had people come back the next day for another one. Both reasonable.

Come on through. Full service breakfast & lunch in North Bondi - Indoor seating and a counter team who'll probably remember your order by the second visit. Pull up a stool, settle in, eat slow.
Takeaway
Walk-up window, online orders ready when you arrive, or grab bagel and coffee and go. Perfect for the beach, the cliff walk, or wherever the morning takes you.
After Hours
Thursday to Sunday, from 3pm the bagels rest and the burgers start. Smash burgers, hot wings, chicken tenders - same store, different mood. Runs through to 8pm.WE DO CATERING

Open from 7am, every day. We're two minutes from the water on Blair Street. Pre-swim, post-swim, on the way to the Bondi to Coogee cliff walk — we're here. Come as you are.

Always. We'll wrap it up properly. Take it to the beach, the park, the coastal walk — wherever makes sense. Takeaway available till 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Both, kind of. We're a Polish deli at heart — we bake, cure, slice and prep everything in-house. But you can sit down for a full breakfast too. Come in, fill your basket with deli provisions, or just grab a bagel and a coffee and go.

Bondi is mostly walk-up - it's the original, and the queue is part of the charm (we promise it moves). For bigger groups or anything special, message us on Instagram or give the store a call before you come in.

There's street parking on Blair Street and the streets around it. Weekend mornings get tight - if you're coming for Saturday brunch, leave yourself a little extra time, or just walk down from the beach.

We do. Gluten-free bun across the bagel menu - just ask in store or flag it when you order online.

Bondi gets fresh Polish bagels delivered daily from our production kitchen, where they're hand-braided, boiled and baked the traditional way - same as they've been made for generations. Different from a New York bagel, and that's the point.
