Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Greenbergs (‘LOX IN A BOX’, ‘us’, ‘we’, ‘our’) website and catering services. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
1. Ordering
1.1. When placing an order through our website, you agree to provide complete and accurate information, including contact details (address, email, phone number or any other contact information required) and event specifications.
1.2. To maintain the quality and service standards for our clients, all catering bookings are subject to a minimum spend of $250. Orders under the $250 minimum may still be accommodated, subject to approval and availability.
1.3. To ensure next-day delivery, please complete your order and submit it before 3:00 pm. Any orders received after the 3:00 pm deadline may be subject to a review and approval process, potentially impacting the scheduled delivery time.
2. Payment Terms
2.1. For all standard online orders and those placed with short notice, full payment is mandatory and must be completed at the time of checkout. This immediate payment serves as a definitive confirmation of your booking, securing your order within our system and enabling us to promptly commence the necessary preparations. Failure to complete the payment at checkout will result in the cancellation of the order.
2.2. For larger events or custom bookings, a partial payment may be requested upon booking with the remaining amount to be paid 2 weeks prior to the event date. Failure to make timely payments may result in delays or cancellation of service.
2.3. Invoices will clearly outline all charges, including any additional services or custom items.
3. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we do our best to be flexible:
3.1. Cancellation charges will apply when your catering requirements have been confirmed verbally or in writing and where costs have been incurred in regards to food, labour or other services. All cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled event or delivery. If a cancellation is made within this 72-hour window, we will issue a credit equal to 100% of the order value, valid for 12 months from the original event date.
3.2. No refunds will be provided for cancellations under any circumstances, including cancellations made with more than 72 hours’ notice. Credits are non-transferable and can be used toward any future catering service or order with Lox in a Box. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled event will not be eligible for any credit, as food preparation and staffing will have already been arranged.
4. Changes to Guest Numbers
4.1. Final guest numbers must be submitted no later than 1 week prior to your event. After this point, guest numbers are locked in and cannot be reduced. Increases in guest count may be accepted after the deadline at our discretion and are subject to availability and additional charges.
4.2. Decreases in guest count once the invoice has been paid, and after the deadline of 1 week out, will not be refunded or credited, as we will have already sourced and prepped ingredients for the agreed number.
