What is lox?

Lox is a fillet of brined salmon. The name Lox came from the word Laks which is Yiddish for salmon!

Why don’t you toast your bagels?

We serve fresh bagels 7 days a week. Traditionally, you don’t toast bagels. Companies started toasting bagels to avoid wastage to bring their stale bread back to life. But at LIAB we never use day old bagels, always fresh ones.

Where do you source your fish from?

Our salmon comes New Zealand, we use an Ora King Salmon. Its eco and sustainably raised with plenty of fresh water to swim in. We make all our fish inhouse, every week.

Do you stock gluten free BAGELS?

Absolutely.

Do you cater?

Yes of course we do! Brunches, lunches, corporate, boats etc you name it, we cater it! Please follow links on our website to see all our catering options.

Are you Kosher?

Unfortunately not, but there are no pork products used in our business.
